Ice Pond #3 is part of the Ice Pond Series of sculptural paintings loosely inspired by many visits to this nature conservation area in Brewster, New York late 2023 and into 2024.

Each painting triggered different memories of my experiences hiking the trails.

• A warm early spring mid-morning on the rocks of the lookout. I'm staring out to the Ice Pond below and the slow rolling hills that make up the horizon. It was a bit breezy and I looked down to the water to find a swirl of wind dancing on the water's surface for the entire distance from shore to shore. It was like an invisible paint brush dancing on the earth in front of me.

This piece is part of the Somni Collection and is only available for pickup at the restaurant because I don't want you to miss out on the food, drinks and people.
